Sacramento Zoo Vehicle Donation Program

The Sacramento Zoo is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and an AZA-accredited facility dedicated to providing excellent care for animals and a great experience for visitors of all ages. Your gift of a vehicle donation will help us continue to create a better future for all living things!

The mission of the Sacramento Zoo is to inspire appreciation, respect, and connection with wildlife and nature through education, recreation and conservation.

At the Sacramento Zoo, we lead with animal welfare, support the conservation of species and habitats around the world and provide uncompromising care for the animals that call the zoo home. Currently, we have nearly 500 native, rare and endangered animals representing over 120 unique species.

Each year approximately 70,000 school children from a 24-county region visit the zoo on organized field trips. To foster an inspiration of respect and connection with wildlife for children and families, we offer many educational programs, including:

• Family and group overnights
• ZooMobiles and Wildlife Stage Shows
• Keeper chats and zoo previews
• Animal encounters, and much more!
